30th - the GREAT SOUTHERN MODEL AUCTION Doors open at 9.00am for viewing and booking in until Auction starts at 11.30am.Anything connected with modelling and lots will be taken in strict order.MINIMUM LOTS £10.00 we expect at least 500 items!!!!Refreshments on site.
Entrance fee £5.00 and under 16 FREE
10% commission on sold lots.

30 & 31st Leek and Moorland Club wish to host a scale sailplane fun fly-in..All welcome. Contact Simon Cocker 07875 386063 or you can email me here. See also the club web site.This is the 3rd year for this event and electric power is allowed if there is not much wind so gives us much more scope should we need to.
Lots of great sites to choose from up here in the Peak District & plenty of accomodation to stay locally to the flying sites.
Come up for a relaxing no pressure fun fly with tons of space to fly & land those scale beauties.Make a diary note for this weekend after the Nats this time! |

20th& 21st. Clwyd Soaring Associations Scale Slope Soaring Fun Fly. The event will held on one of our club flying sites, all but two of the sites are accessible by car; site selection will depend on wind direction on the day. This event is open to Scale models only and is not Competitive. Come and join us for a nice relaxing weekend in the Welsh Hills, with a few pints and a good chinwag on the Saturday Night.
Should the weather be unsuitable for slope soaring, (no wind) we hope to be able to offer you the opportunity to do some aero-towing.
A camping site will be available for the weekend, along with B&B accommodation.
