Dartmoor Slope Soaring Club & Teign Valley Model Flying Club

Please note the reserve dates will only be used should the event dates be unflyable due to weather conditions.
All events will be held at Little Haldon Flying Site Nr. Teignmouth Devon off the B3192.
All are welcome, pilots briefing at 9.45am. Pilots Flying Fee £3.00 Assistants and spectators free.
Bring your electric, thermal and scale gliders. Facilities available for non self launching gliders. BMFA insurance required.

The Ghost Squadron Presents "Middle Wallop"

Flying 10.00 to 18.00

Located on the Army Aircorps base at Middle Wallop in Hampshire this event is one not to be missed. Tugs available for any size gliders and flying from 10am both days till late. Access to the airfield is via the Museum of Army Flying carpark. Pilots are required to book in once on site and proof of insurance will be checked. Camping is available on the Museum carpark from the Friday with departures possible on the Monday if desirable. Questions/queries can be made to Pat Marsden or PM via the SSUK site

There is a charge of 5 Per glider pilot. Tug pilots will be free and a donationt towards fuel will be given. Proof of insurence insurance is required.

The Ghost Squadron are pleased to announce the fly-in at Cheddar
The week long event will run from 3rd to 10th June inclusive and will follow the very successful laid back flying style format of previous years. The site is huge and suitable for all types of models. Toilets and a caravan toilet waste disposal point along with water will be available. Come for a day the weekend or all week and enjoy some relaxed flying. Tugs will be available for all sizes of gliders but all types of models are welcome
As in previous years the fly-in will be limited to 25 caravans / tents / motorhomes. Applications will be taken on a “first come first served” basis. Application forms will be available shortly by contacting John (number below)

Caravans welcome, there will be water supplied by the farmer, a portaloo will be on site, this however is mainly for the ladies. There is a charge of £10 per caravan per night, and £5 per pilot per day. Proof of insurance is required.

Wolves MAC Scale Glider Fly-in on the Long Mynd

Long Mynd, Church Stretton, Shropshire
This is a Fly-in rather than a formal competition, although there will be a pilot's vote for the best pilot/glider combination.
Camping for the whole weekend is available, with a BBQ on Friday evening and a meal at a local pub on the Saturday night.
Sport and scale flying is available, 'off the peg' on Friday and Saturday, but Sunday's Fly-in is specifically for scale gliders. (£3.00 entry fee)
Several slopes are available on the Long Mynd, so most wind directions can be accommodated. For further information please contact:

Binham 2016

Back by popular demand and following the success of the meeting last August our hosts Andrew and Beverley Taylor have invited us back for another week of relaxed flying. Due to the very late bank holidayin 2015 this event is bieng held the week before the August Bank Holiday. The dates have been fixed as the 17th to 24th August inclusive. As with the previous event places will be strictly limited to the first 25 caravans, tents or motorhomes.
The format of the event will be exactly the same as previous years with the emphasis on laid back social flying. Please note that turbine models will not be acceptable due to the standing crops in adjoining fields.
Come for a day, the weekend or the whole week. Tugs will be available for all sizes of gliders but all types of models are welcome
Applications will be taken on a “first come first served” basis.
